Abstract

Project failures in large-scale infrastructure and IT programs are frequently attributed to inadequate risk anticipation and mitigation strategies. This study proposes a risk-aware project planning model that integrates quantitative risk scoring with milestone-based decision checkpoints. Empirical evaluation highlights improved forecasting accuracy and proactive issue resolution across multi-year programs.
