Rethinking Java Garbage Collection: Comparative tuning of G1, ZGC, and Shenandoah collectors under production load
Abstract
This paper examines comparative tuning of G1, ZGC, and Shenandoah collectors under production load within the context of Java Garbage Collection. Drawing on field case studies, we empirically evaluate java garbage collection and its implications for project leaders. Results indicate measurable improvements in reliability and offer actionable recommendations for future adoption.
