Bridging Theory and Practice in GraalVM Native Image: Startup latency and footprint reduction for cloud-native Java services
Abstract
This article examines startup latency and footprint reduction for cloud-native Java services within the context of GraalVM Native Image. Drawing on production telemetry from partner organizations, we propose a framework for graalvm native image and its implications for practitioners. Results indicate measurable improvements in system throughput and offer actionable recommendations for organizational rollout.
