An Empirical Study of PMO Governance Models: Maturity assessment of enterprise project management offices

Abstract

This article examines maturity assessment of enterprise project management offices within the context of PMO Governance Models. Drawing on an industry-wide survey, we present a comparative analysis of pmo governance models and its implications for practitioners. Results indicate measurable improvements in system throughput and offer actionable recommendations for further research.
